Two Clergy Abuse Victims Come Forward

| No Comments | No TrackBacks
Another priest is under fire for alleged clergy abuse against two former parishioners.

Although the abuse happened several decades ago, both parties have decided to come forward and tell their tales of horror. One man spoke about being sexually abused in 1977 when he was just 14 years old; the second plaintiff claims that the priest abused him in 1980 when he was 13 years old. Both cases happened in the state of North Carolina, one in Albermarle and the other in Charlotte.

Together, the two men are asking for damages of $10,000. The lawsuit also points a finger at the diocese for supposedly knowing about the abuse but doing nothing to stop the clergy abuse.

Did you suffer from clergy abuse as a child but have not yet come forward with your story? If so, there is no time to waste in contacting the Zalkin Law Firm so you can discuss your case with a clergy abuse attorney.  In some cases, you may be allowed to file a lawsuit to seek compensation for the physical and emotional trauma you endured.
