Teacher Gets Probation for Student Sex Abuse

| No Comments | No TrackBacks
The past two and a half years have been a painful ordeal for two families affected by teacher sex abuse.

At that time, a teacher in one city was charged with sexual abuse against two of his female students. Only now has he gone before a judge to answer for his crimes and to apologize to the girls and their families. Before he did so, however, both the victims and their families read victim impact statements for the jury to hear. Their stories were devastating and heart-wrenching.

The judge sentenced the man to one month in jail, followed by seven years of probation. He will then be forced to attend sex offender classes to help rehabilitate him. The terms of the probation also state that the man must not approach or be anywhere near the victims or their families at any times. In addition, he must not go to any public places such as schools or parks where other children could be found.

Were you sexually abused in school by a teacher or staff member?  If so, seek legal help today by contacting the Zalkin Law Firm to engage the services of a compassionate student sex abuse attorney.
