A woman from Norwalk now faces multiple charges of elder financial abuse.

According to police reports Marisa Robles, 31, had already been accused of theft but had failed to appear in court. After issuing a warrant for her arrest, officers were able to track Robles down and arrest her. She is believed to have stolen as much as $287,000 from one victim, an elderly man living in Leisure World, Seal Beach.

In addition to the theft charge, Robles faces additional charges for graft theft, forgery and elder abuse; there are currently 90 charges against her. Shortly after Robles was hired by the gentleman, she began writing herself checks from his personal account.
