News sources report that a priest that has been accused of sexually harassing a seminary student is currently working as a chaplain at St. Joseph's University. Following the accusations, the priest was allegedly placed there by the Archdiocese Of Philadelphia.
At this time, he is a part-time chaplain in the alumni office who has no contact with students. A spokesperson from the University said that it is aware of the priest's past and the fact that he denied allegations of clergy abuse, but agreed to an out of court settlement back in 2002.
The University also said that the Archdiocese gave its approval to the priest's new post and is also responsible for assigning him to work at the school.
Despite being contacted, the Archdiocese refused to issue comments on the matter.
