Former Teacher Enters Plea in Sex Abuse Case

| No Comments | No TrackBacks
In Iowa City, news sources say that a former teacher entered a plea to the crime of intent to commit sexual abuse.  He entered his plea to the charge in Alford, Iowa.

Under the terms of his plea, 60 year old Robert Dolan did not admit that he was guilty.  However, he agreed that the evidence presented against him would most likely result in a conviction if he went to trial.  At this time, his sentencing date has not been determined.

Dolan used to work as a business teacher at Regina High School when he was charge with a sexual offense. Prosecutors report that Dolan brought beer over to the home of a 17 year old back in January.  The boy passed out after consuming the alcohol and then awoke to Dolan fondling him.

The 17 year old did not attend Regina High.
