In the city of Chicago, local news sources have reported that a teacher from Lake Zurich High School has been arrested by police following an allegation of sexual abuse involving a student.  The arrest was confirmed by law enforcement on Tuesday.

At this time, 51-year-old Ronald D. Culver has been charged with a class two felony after surrendering himself to police on Monday.  This information was made public by a release from the police department.

According to police, on October 28th, the Lake Zurich Police Department was informed of a possible aggravated criminal sexual abuse incident that took place at the high school.  An investigation by officers revealed that there was a sexual relationship between a student and Culver.

Culver's bond has been set at $10,000.  If he is convicted, he will face a possible sentence of 3 to 7 years in prison.
