Victims of Priest Abuse Found on Montana Reservations

| No TrackBacks

15 victims of priest abuse have been found on the reservations in the area, reports the Missoulian.  The now-dead Catholic priests, Augustine Feretti and Bernard Harris, were members of the Jesuits.  It is reported that both had spent time in Montana working on reservations.  Feretti served at both the Flathead and Rocky Boy's Indian reservations prior to being moved to other areas in Oregon and Idaho.  He was known as "Father Freddie" at the time.

There is some urgency in finding other victims, as a court order issued in February, when the regional order of Jesuits, called the Oregon Province of the Society of Jesus, filed for bankruptcy.  The order includes the seeking out of other victims of priest abuse from members of the order.  The order has already paid out over $25 million in compensation in sex abuse cases.

If you or a loved one has suffered from priest abuse, it is crucial that you contact a clergy abuse attorney.  The legal team at the Zalkin Law Firm is dedicated to fighting for your right to make a claim for compensation after being victimized by these criminals.
