Reverend Frederick Barr, a Roman Catholic priest who served at St. Patrick's in Natick during the 1990's has been accused of child sexual assault allegedly occurring 20 years ago, reports the Metro West Daily News. Following the accusation, Barr was placed on administrative leave while the Boston Archdiocese investigates the claim.
The accused priest also served in Belmont from 1985 - 1990. A spokesperson for the Boston Diocese is reported to have said that law enforcement has been notified of the case.
