| No TrackBacks

Charles E. Carfrey, a 59 year old pastor of the Lord's House Church in Buckeye has pleaded guilty to sexual conduct with a minor, reports azcentral.  Carfrey has been held in custody since March 20 when he was arrested on suspicion of sexual abuse against several women during "counseling sessions" in 2004 and 2005.  One of the alleged victims was 17 years old at the time.

Carfrey is also charged with failing to register as a sex offender, as he was convicted in Oregon in 1988 of sexually assaulting his own daughter.  He spent five years in prison and on probation for that offense.

If you or a loved one has been the victim of clergy abuse, it is crucial that you get legal assistance from a clergy abuse attorney.  The legal team at the Zalkin Law Firm will relentlessly fight for your right to fair compensation for these horrible crimes.
