Lexington Priest Accused of Clergy Abuse

| No TrackBacks

Three men have filed a clergy abuse lawsuit against Father Joseph Muench, pastor  the Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary Parish in Lexington, reports Lex18.com.  The three men claim that when they were children at the Good Shepherd Parish in Frankfort, the priest committed sexual misconduct.  The crimes are alleged to have occurred between 1984 and 1986, when Father Muench was an associate pastor at the Church.

The Diocese says that they have done their own investigation into the allegations and that they have the "semblance of truth".  They have placed Father Muench on leave and he is not allowed to perform any public ministry, and is not allowed to live in Catholic Church housing until the matter is resolved.

Individuals who have suffered such crimes can be assisted by a clergy abuse attorney.  The legal team at the Zalkin Law Firm is dedicated to fighting for compensation for damages for individuals who have been victims of this horrendous crime.
