The OC Register reports that a priest has been arrested on charges of molesting a boy at St. John the Baptist Catholic School in the early 1990's. The Catholic priest, Denis Lyons, age 75, was taken into custody and booked for the charges. He denies the charges.
The priest was charged with four felony counts and if convicted will face 14 years in prison. Rev. Lyons has apparently already cost the Diocese of Orange more than $4 million in settlements on earlier sex abuse claims. Lyons was removed from public ministry in 2002.
