The Washington Examiner recently reported on new accusations against deceased Catholic priest Joseph Dooley.
Three men have filed lawsuits against Dooley, the three parishes in which the abuse was alleged to have taken place and the Archdiocese of Washington. The civil suits were filed in the Delaware Superior Court due to the fact that the three men all claim that they were abused at Dooley's trailer in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Delaware's statute of limitations on sex abuse cases was recently extended to include a window in which individuals could file civil suits against those who abused them, regardless of when the abuse occurred.
