The Palm Beach Post reported on a Florida minister charged with videotaping sex acts committed by minors. According to police, the DVDs that Reverend Richard "J.R." Harris made with many young boys in his area were stolen from Harris' residence and surfaced in the community.
Harris had allegedly promised the young boys that they would get help from him to get football scholarships and to go to college. In fact, according to one of Harris' 15-year-old victims, Harris asked him, "what would you do to go to college?" Then, the priest asked the boy to perform a sexual act on him.
According to former students, Harris was often regarded with suspicion and many boys stayed away from him because they knew what he "wanted." Harris is now in custody and is facing charges for his crimes.
